Domestic violence does not discriminate. It affects victims of any age, economic standing or gender. Domestic violence takes different forms and are often overlooked.  Some examples of domestic violence are as follows:

  • Threats;
  • Physical or sexual abuse;
  • Financial or economic abuse;
  • Psychological and/or emotional abuse; and
  • Harassment and stalking.
